WE ROASTED HER….
Don’t cry for her
She will not rise
Waste not your strength
We failed her
She had no crime
She had only her choice
That wasn’t for us
We roasted her.
We fight hate speech
We fight right to speak
We can’t be one
Choices must be made
If we must
We fight for Justice
We fight for our Rights
We fight Inequality
We fight for Freedom
So we roast no more.
But days remain bleak
Tempers soar
Supporters fight and kill
Principals party together
While friends and family
We roast alive
But she triumphs
She rests
Her sins borne
By us who roasted her alive.
